Regular Exercise

Less than 5% of the population engages in regular exercise, despite the overwhelming evidence that exercise can release endorphins, reduce stress hormones, and improve mood. Physical activity also promotes better sleep, enhances self-esteem, and provides a sense of accomplishment, all of which are vital for maintaining good mental health.

Balanced Nutrition

We are what we eat. If you do not feel well, start with analyzing your diet.  We need to remove the processed foods and focus on nutrient dense foods that can have a direct impact on brain function. Essential nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids, B vitamins, and antioxidants support cognitive function and mood regulation. Avoiding excessive sugar and processed foods can help stabilize energy levels and prevent mood swings.  We have 90 essential nutrients that our body cannot make, and we cannot rely on our diet alone to fulfill this need. If you need help with diet and supplementation, we can help.

Sleep Hygiene

Quality sleep is fundamental for mental health. Deep stages of sleep allow the brain to rest and repair, consolidate memories, and regulate emotions. Poor sleep can lead to increased stress, irritability, and impaired decision-making, all of which negatively impact mental well-being. Construct a regular sleep cycle consisting of 7-8 hours of sleep. There are several technologies that offer sleep quality tracking to help you create restful sleep.
